The Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants presented J. Newton “Newt” Rumble of Vancouver with a Community Leadership Award. Rumble has been a member of the organization for more than three decades. He has been an advocate for the CPA profession, including serving on the board for the Vancouver Area Chapter of the Washington Society of CPAs. He’s also involved with the Rotary Club of Clark County, Clark College Foundation and a number of other organizations. The society has nearly 8,000 members. An award presentation is set for May 2 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
An employee at Vancouver-based DiscoverOrg, a market intelligence company, was selected as one of “20 Women to Watch” by the Sales Lead Management Association. Vice President of Marketing Anna Fisher is based at the company’s Waltham, Mass office. Women on the list were selected based on contributions to C-level management skills, published works, and marketing and sales activities.
