Spotlight on youth

Mountain View High School has placed 16th and 11th in an online national math contest hosted by National Assessment and Testing. Fahmid Rahman placed sixth and Lu Abuizzah placed 16th in the 10th-grade division of the Ciphering Time Trials. The team of Justin Xue, Nathaniel John, Lu Abuizzah and Peter Kilway placed fourth in the youngest division of the Four-by-Four Competition. Coach Mechelle Griffin helped prepare the students for these contests.
