RIDGEFIELD — Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries is seeking public input on plans for the expanded Ridgefield Community Library. In 2018, the Ridgefield Community Center board donated its building, which is attached to the current library, to Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries.

People are invited to share their input on what features they’d like to see in the expanded library from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 7 in the community center, 210 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield.

By taking over the community center space, the library can grow from its existing 2,055-square-foot space to up to 11,000 square feet. The library district recently hired Johansson Wing Architecture to develop options and architectural designs for the expanded library, and hopes to start construction this fall.
