Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries after a three-car crash Thursday night in Salmon Creek.

Emergency personnel responded around 6:45 p.m. to Northeast 134th Street and Northeast 20th Avenue. The crash involved a small sedan and two midsize SUVs, said Kevin Todd, a battalion chief with Clark County Fire District 6. Extrication tools were needed to remove at least one person from a vehicle, Todd said.

Two people were taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. One person was believed to be in critical conditional while the other was noncritical, Todd said.

Emergency crews spent more than an hour on the scene. Most eastbound and westbound lanes on Northeast 134th Street were blocked, Todd said.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the crash at the site.
