Spring Chinook angling is closed from the mouth of the Columbia at Buoy 10 up to the Bonneville Dam as of April 13.
Spring Chinook angling is open on the Willamette River, where conditions should improve this weekend.
Spring Chinook angling is open from Tower Island power lines upstream to the Oregon/Washington border above McNary Dam, plus the banks between Bonneville Dam and Tower Island power lines.
Buoy 10 upstream to McNary Dam including adjacent tributaries is closed to retention of white sturgeon but remains open for catch and release fishing only.
Trout fishing in local lakes continues to be good.
Steelheading is fair on the Cowlitz River.
Walleye fishing has slowed considerably due to poor river conditions.
Bass fishing has been good in the Bonneville Pool.
Salmon/Steelhead
Lower Columbia from Warrior Rock line to Bonneville Dam — 176 salmonid boats and 34 Washington bank rods were tallied during last Sundays flight count.
Bonneville — 129 bank anglers kept one adult. Eight boats/19 anglers had no catch.
Camas/Washougal — 52 boats/119 anglers kept one adult.
I-5 — One bank angler had no catch; 113 boats/268 anglers kept 10 adults and released two.
Vancouver — 26 bank anglers had no catch. 245 boats/557 anglers kept 27 adults and released six adults.
Columbia Tributaries
Wind River — From the mouth to 400 feet downstream of Shipherd Falls fish ladder, the adult daily limit is one hatchery spring Chinook or two hatchery steelhead or one of each.
Effective May 1, from 100 feet above Shipherd Falls to 800 yards downstream of Carson National Fish Hatchery the adult daily limit is one spring Chinook or two hatchery steelhead or one of each.
Drano Lake — Six boats/nine rods had no catch. Daily limit is two hatchery spring Chinook or two hatchery steelhead or one of each. Release all wild chinook and wild steelhead. Closed to angling on Wednesdays.
Klickitat River — The adult salmon daily limit is one fish from the mouth to Fisher Hill Bridge.
Effective May 25, from 400 feet upstream from No. 5 fishway to boundary markers below Klickitat Salmon hatchery, the daily salmon limit is six fish, of which only one may be an adult.
Cowlitz River — I-5 Bridge downstream: 28 bank rods had no catch. Above the I-5 Br: 35 bank rods kept 24 steelhead. 33 boats/97 rods released 1 Chinook and kept 25 steelhead.
Tacoma Power tagged and recycled 142 winter-run steelhead adults to the lower Cowlitz River.
Kalama River — Five bank anglers had no catch. Three boats/eight rods had no catch.
Lewis River — Nine bank anglers had no catch.

Battle Ground Lake — 2,000 rainbow trout at 1.9 fish per pound were planted on April 15.
Sacajawea Lake — 3,375 rainbow trout at 2.5 per pound were planted on April 15.
Walleye
Bonneville Pool — One boat/three rods had no catch.
Bass
Bonneville Pool — Two boats/three rods released 22 bass.
