Luke Staton’s sacrifice fly with the bases loaded sent Union to a 4-3 win over Camas in 11 innings on Tuesday at Union High.
Staton’s one-out sac fly ended a game that saw eight pitchers combine for 22 strikeouts and 19 walks as each team managed just five hits.
Staton drove in a run on an error that tied the score 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth. No team would score again until the bottom of the 11th.
Spencer McGuire, Jordan Head and Michael Whitney allowed just three hits over six innings in relief for Union, which improved to 8-5 overall and 3-4 in the 4A Greater St. Helens League.
Riley Sinclair allowed three hits over six innings in relief for Camas (10-4, 5-2).

• Mary Fogg, Mountain View softball, went 4 for 6 with five runs scored and five RBI in a league win over Hudson’s Bay.
• Abby Runyon, Hockinson softball, threw a complete-game four-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 2-0 extra-inning league win over R.A. Long.
• Jetzael Meza-Gonzalez, Seton Catholic boys soccer, scored two of the Cougars’ goals in a shutout win over Columbia-White Salmon.
