The Clark County Food Bank is looking for volunteers for a variety of duties, including food sorters and food collectors to pick up and transport donations of food. Food sorters will organize and repackage food donations in a refrigerated food-safe room for shifts from 10 a.m. to noon. Wear closed-toe shoes and warm clothing. Collectors drive Food Bank trucks on two-hour routes through Clark County. Shifts for both positions are available Monday through Friday. Contact 360-693-0939 or volunteer@clarkcountyfoodbank.org for more information.

The Downtown Camas Association is looking for volunteers for a “spring cleaning” in downtown Camas from 1 to 4 p.m. April 28, meeting in front of Journey Community Church at Fourth and Birth streets. Help with weeding, planting and picking up litter. Arrive at 12:30 p.m. for a lunch of grilled burgers and hot dogs prior to the cleanup event. Garbage bags and rubber gloves are provided for litter pickup. Bring your own shovels, spades, buckets, wheelbarrows and garden gloves. Wheelbarrows are especially needed. You can also adopt a flower basket to add to the spring charm in the downtown area, for a donation of $45. For more information, visit https://downtowncamas.com/event/spring-planting-day.

The National Association of Letter Carriers seeks volunteers for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive across all of Clark County. Shifts are flexible between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 11, at multiple locations. Volunteers with pickups or other high-capacity vehicle are especially needed to pick up food donations and deliver them to the sorting centers. For more information contact local organizer Don Young at 360-904-6972, email postal44@comcast.net or go to https://www.nalc.org/community-service/food-drive.
