The Port of Vancouver’s most recent state audit came back free of problems, according to the Washington State Auditor’s Office.
The 2018 office review found no issues with the port’s accounting and financial recording, or in its procurement processes, self-insurance, marine terminal revenue, payroll or accounts payable.
The port noted it has had 10 consecutive years of “clean” audits from the state auditor’s office.
“Receiving 10 consecutive clean audits is no small feat,” Port CEO Julianna Marler said in a news release. “It truly demonstrates the integrity of our team and our continued dedication to accountability and responsible use of public resources.”
