The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce led a red-ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday at the Rediviva, the 63-unit, six-story apartment building at The Waterfront Vancouver.

Gramor Development president Barry Cain, Vancouver City Manager Eric Holmes and Vancouver Councilman Bart Hansen participated in the ceremony, surrounded by the chamber’s red-coated ambassadors. About 40 percent of the building is leased, said Jim Edwards, waterfront project director for Gramor, which built the structure.

The building opened to tenants in mid-December. Monthly rents are $1,826 for studios to $3,283 for larger two-bedrooms. The building has 36 one-bedroom apartments and 22 two-bedroom units, along with five studio units. The units range from 579 square feet for studios to 1,553 square feet for the largest of the two-bedroom penthouse units.

The ground floor includes a 4,000-square-foot commercial area opening onto Waterfront Way, facing the river. Most of that space will soon be home to Stack 571, a whiskey bar and burger restaurant franchise from Tacoma. A remaining 1,000-square-foot portion is vacant.
