Bart Phillips tells investors he’s leaving OneRedmond

Bart Phillips, the former Columbia River Economic Development Council president, is leaving OneRedmond where he has been CEO of the public/private partnership since 2013, the publication Redmond Reporter said.

“I am leaving OneRedmond for other pursuits in economic development and entrepreneurship,” Phillips wrote in a letter emailed to investors Monday, according to the Redmond Reporter. “It has been my privilege to work for a public/ private partnership that strives to maintain and promote the economic vitality of the most vibrant tech led economy in the world, Redmond, Washington.”

Phillips served 10 years at the CREDC. Starting in December 2011, he served as vice president of economic development with Innovate Washington, a state-led economic development entity.
