Minor flooding is possible in Vancouver along the Columbia River at the end of this week, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service issued a flood watch from Thursday through Saturday mornings. Minor flooding from high river flows in Vancouver could happen Thursday and Friday.
While landslides and debris flow are possible, impacts are expected to be minimal with some flooding in roads, parks and trails near the river, according to the weather service. Though people, structures and roads situated below sleep slopes, in canyons and near mouths of canyons may be at serious risk should landslides occur.
The flood watch was also issued for northwest Oregon, the central Willamette Valley and other parts of southwest Washington.
