How do you host an Easter egg hunt, that beloved spring tradition, so visually impaired kids can participate?

Make the eggs noisy.

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes will host a beeping egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Washington School for the Blind, 2214 E. 13th St., Vancouver.

Along with the egg hunt, participants can meet the Easter Bunny and ride a tandem bicycle with a partner.

The event is free and open to all families with a child who has a visual impairment.

Registration is required by visiting www.nwaba.org or calling 360-448-7254.
