Clark County Parks and the city of Vancouver invite volunteers to participate in the Community VolunTOUR Program. Visit historic sites, unique parks, and public spaces while learning valuable skills from partner organizations. Each opportunity begins with a 15- to 20-minute informational talk corresponding to the day’s program. Volunteers younger than 18 should bring a signed minor consent form, found at http://tinyurl.com/CityCountyMinorConsentForm. For more information contact Dora Hernandez at 360-397-2285, ext. 1679, or Dora.Hernandez@clark.wa.gov.

Clark County Parks and the city of Vancouver are also looking for volunteers for the 2019 SOLVE It For Earth Day Riverside Cleanup event. Prevent trash from entering to Pacific Ocean by picking up litter in the park and along the banks of the Columbia River, as well as down the road at Blurock Landing. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on April 20 at Frenchman’s Bar Park. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring a refillable water bottle. Gloves, garbage bags and light snacks supplied, but feel free to bring your own. Youth 13 and younger can volunteer with a parent or guardian. Teenagers 14 to 17 years old need to have signed minor consent form to volunteer without a parent or guardian: http://bit.ly/EventConsent. If you have any questions please contact Dora Hernandez, at 360.397.2285, ext. 1679, or Dora.Hernandez@clark.wa.gov.

Klineline Kids Fishing needs volunteers to prepare for and help at its annual fishing event from April 10 to April 13. Help give thousands of children the opportunity to experience the thrill of catching a fish and learn more about our natural resources and the outdoors. Find more information at http://www.klineline-kf.org, call 360-818-4897 or email klinelinekidsfishing@gmail.com.

The Vancouver Farmers Market seeks volunteers to help in the information booth, as well as the Shop and Drop booth where volunteers will assist customers with borrowing wagons while browsing the market and storing purchases for later pickup.
