State Rep. Stonier sponsors daughter as page for a week at House of Representatives

Fisher-Mill Plain — Mallory Stonier, a student at Pacific Middle School, served as a page recently in the Washington state House of Representatives. She was sponsored by Rep. Monica Stonier, D-Vancouver, who is also her mother. Pages assume a wide variety of responsibilities, from presenting the flags to distributing amendments on the House floor. Pages also receive daily civics instruction, drafting their own bills and participating in mock committee hearings.
