Mount St. Helens center closed for work

TOUTLE — The Mount St. Helens Forest Leaning Center will be closed until May 18 for repairs.

The center is about 20 miles east of Toutle on state Highway 504, also called the Spirit Lake Memorial Highway.

The parking lot will also be closed.

The Mount St. Helens Forest Learning Center operates in partnership between Weyerhaeuser Company, Washington State Department of Transportation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
