Rally planned Thursday over Mueller report

Vancouver activists are planning a rally calling on U.S. Attorney General William Barr to release Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s full report on his investigation into President Donald Trump’s ties to Russia.

At 5 p.m. Thursday, local activists will gather at Esther Short Park, 605 Esther St., to join other cities and towns in a national “day of action” in response to Barr’s failure to release the Mueller report and underlying evidence by Tuesday to Congress.

The event is one of hundreds of protests across the country set for Thursday. They’re organized by a national coalition, Nobody is Above the Law. The group promoted a similar rally in Esther Short Park on Nov. 8 after Trump fired former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and that rally drew more than 200 people.
