3A GSHL football: Kelso 34, Prairie 18

Josh Webb rushed 21 times for 178 yards and two touchdowns as Kelso won the 3A Greater St. Helens League opener and improved to 5-0 overall with the win over visiting Prairie.

Webb scored on runs of 45, 60 and a hook-and-lateral of 48 yards to end the first half.

Prairie (2-3, 0-1) scored its only touchdown on a 57-yard pass play to Dustin Shelby from AJ Dixson, who was 14 of 32 passing for 178 yards. The Falcons opened the scoring in the second quarter with a 32-yard field goal by Taylor Lawhead.

The Kelso defense held Prairie to nine yards rushing.
