Second-installment 2018 property taxes are due Oct. 31, Clark County Treasurer Doug Lasher announced.

Taxpayers may pay their property taxes online using a credit or debit card or from their checking or savings account. While credit and debit card payments are assessed a 2.39 percent convenience fee, the fee for using electronic checking or savings account is $1 per transaction. To make a payment, go to www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer/payment-options, or call 877-778-4606.

To register to receive tax statements electronically and manage property taxes online, go to www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer and select “Make a Payment.” Transactions must be completed by midnight Oct. 31 to avoid interest charges.

Payments also can be mailed to Clark County Treasurer, Caller Box 35150, Seattle, WA 98124-5140. Tax payments must be postmarked by Oct. 31 to avoid interest charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with statement to mail payments.

“If you have not received your 2018 second-installment tax statement or have lost it, you can visit our website at www.clark.wa.gov/treasurer or contact the treasurer’s office at 564-397-2252 for a duplicate statement,” Lasher said in a news release.

The treasurer’s office is on the second floor of the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, a block north of the Clark County Courthouse. It’s open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
