The Port of Vancouver Board of Commissioners invites the public for coffee and conversation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Heathman Lodge, Sacajawea Room, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive.
It will be an informal event. People can come visit at any time for light refreshments and to connect with commissioners, and learn about and offer feedback on port projects. Attendees can also learn what the implications of a five-member board would be.
The commission talked about expanding the board earlier this year. Port officials will discuss with port district residents what it would mean to go from a three person governing body to a five person body.
