PORTLAND — The Oregon Department of Transportation is planning nighttime closures of the northbound and southbound spans of the Interstate 5 Bridge for inspections and maintenance.
The work will begin this weekend and run through Oct. 5.
The schedule is as follows:
• Sunday, Sept. 30, the left and middle lanes of the northbound span will be closed 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Monday, Oct. 1 and Tuesday, Oct. 2, the middle and right lanes will be closed 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 3, and Thursday, Oct. 4, all southbound lanes will be closed 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. with traffic directed onto eastbound state Highway 14.
