Moody, Mountain View capture titles at Prairie Invitational golf tournament

Mountain View’s Graham Moody earned his tournament win of the fall season, shooting a 2-under-par 66 to win the Prairie Invitational Wednesday at The Cedars on Salmon Creek.

Moody shot a 1-under 35 on the front nine and a 1-under 31 on the abbreviated back nine at The Cedars to win by three shots.

Sean Ball of Seton Catholic was second with a 69 and Mountain View’s Willie Yeh was third at 70.

Mountain View had three players in the top five – Moody, Yeh and Evan Zuvich, who shot a 75 – to win the team title with a score of 300.

Columbia River, paced by 78s by Isaiah Lamont and Brady Yackley, was second at 314. Battle Ground, led by Anthony Tobias’ 76, was third at 319.
