Heritage came out with a balanced offense of passing and running while Mountain View came out with a very heavy passing game as the two teams faced off in a non-league matchup.
Heritage’s junior quarterback Skylar Scroggins finished the game with 114 passing yards with senior Daniel Barrera getting 81 of those receiving yards.
For Mountain View, senior Garrett Moen would contribute four of the seven touchdowns for the Thunder with two in the air and on the ground.
Moen ended with 283 passing yards and 77 rushing. Senior Jack Mertens had 133 rushing yards.
Mountain View’s three interceptions would prove key in helping the Thunder seal the victory.
