UPDATE: Mr. Aguirre was found and returned safely home, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating an elderly man who went missing late Friday morning.
Juan V. Aguirre, 88, was last seen at about 11:45 a.m. at 9612 N.E. 21st St. He was wearing a blue wool sweater, blue jeans and mismatched shoes — one grey slipper, one brown slip on loafer. He is about 6 feet tall weighing 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
Aguirre has early onset dementia and gets confused and lost easily.
