Two fallen Clark County soldiers to be honored in Fort Vancouver ceremonies

The Community Military Appreciation Committee will honor two Clark County soldiers killed in action with a two-day ceremony at the Fort Vancouver Barracks.

U.S. Army Master Sgt. Robb Needham, killed in action on Sept. 20, 2006, and U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jonah McClellan, killed in action on Sept. 21, 2010, will be recognized as fallen heroes on the anniversaries of their deaths. On Thursday, Sept. 20 and Friday, Sept. 21, the Patriot Guard Riders will hold a ceremony from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Fifth Street across from the Pearson Air Museum at Fort Vancouver. The ceremonies will include a briefing, a KSU to the Clark County War Memorial, a flag line, a remembrance ceremony and a debriefing.
