The state Department of Social and Health Services’ mobile office will visit the Woodland Action Center from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 16.
It’s a chance for people to get questions answered about the agency’s services. People can apply for cash assistance, medical assistance, the Medicare Savings Program or Basic Food (otherwise known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP).
Also, potential clients can review their eligibility for services, drop off paperwork, make changes to an existing case or complete a mid-certification review.
Woodland Action Center, which helps low-income families in Clark and Cowlitz counties with basic needs, is located at 736 Davidson Ave., Woodland.
