The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one four-year term position on the Vancouver Public Facilities District Board of Directors.
The district was created to develop the downtown hotel and convention center, which it leases to the Downtown Redevelopment Authority. The board meets twice a year, typically in June and December at City Hall. To prepare for meetings, members are expected to review budget summaries and other financial information about the hotel and convention center.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 17. For more information, visit cityofvancouver.us/boards or contact Michelle Bartley in the city manager’s office at michelle.bartley@cityofvancouver.us or 360-487-8607.
