RIDGEFIELD — Ridgefield School District announced changes to the calendar to make up days lost while teachers were on strike.
The changes are:
• Dec. 20 will become a full day of classes. It was originally to be the first day of winter break.
• Feb. 15 will change from a built-in snow day to a full day of classes.
• June 14 will now be the last day of classes in the district. Originally, June 13 was the last day.
The start of the school year was delayed in Ridgefield while teachers were on strike. The teachers settled on new contracts, and school started after three days were canceled.
