Taj Muhammad returned three punts for touchdowns and added a touchdown catch as Seton Catholic rolled to a 66-0 nonleague football victory Saturday at home over Riverside (Ore.).
Muhammad, a senior, had all three punt returns for touchdowns in the first quarter on returns of 35, 45 and 44 yards as part of a 36-point first quarter. Muhammad’s 35-yard touchdown reception from back-up quarterback Luke Price started the second-quarter scoring.
“When he gets (the ball), he’s going to make something happen.” Seton coach Will Ephraim said of Muhammad, who also had an interception.
Running back CJ Hamlin added touchdown runs of 2, 57 and 25 yards to help give Seton a 57-0 halftime lead.
