Nominees for Week 3 prep football player of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 15. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

ANDREW BOYLE, CAMAS: Threw three touchdown passes, had one rushing TD, made three field goals and eight extra points in a 67-14 win over West Valley (Yakima).

ANDREW REMLINGER, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Led the Thunder defense with four tackles for loss, two sacks, and an interception in a 54-7 victory over Battle Ground.

NILE JONES, UNION: Rushed for 144 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries in 43-18 win over Eastlake.

TYLER FLANAGAN, WOODLAND: Rushed for two touchdowns, threw for one TD and returned a kickoff 86 yards for a TD in a 29-26 win over Washougal.

TAJ MUHAMMAD: Scored four touchdowns, including three on punt returns in the first quarter of a 66-0 win over Riverside.
