Prep Highlights: Abbott’s two goals help rally Hockinson for victory

Grace Abbott scored two goals as the Hockinson girls soccer team scored four times in the second half to rally past Mark Morris 4-1 in the 2A Greater St. Helens League match on Thursday.

Abbott assisted on Ellie Seekins goal to tie the match 1-1. After Kaylee Finally’s unassisted goal, Abbott scored goals on assists for Seekins and Kendall McGraw to complete the Hawks’ scoring.

The win improved Hockinson to 2-0 in 2A GSHL play.

• Owen Huntington, Camas boys golf, shot a 3-over 39, the low round in a match against Heritage at Camas Meadows.

• Kohana Fukuchi, Ridgefield volleyball, had 34 assists, 7 kills and 10 digs for Spudders in a 3-1 win over Washougal.

• Taylor Hope, Ridgefield girls soccer, scored the game’s lone goal on an assist for Brooke Weese in a 1-0 win over Washougal.

• Leiah Keniston, Evergreen girls soccer, had three goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over Seton Catholic.

• Emma Swett, Woodland volleyball, had 12 kills, 8 assists and an ace in a 3-0 win over R.A. Long

• Seth Finnie, Union boys golf, shot an even-par 35 at The Cedars to lead the Titans over Battle Ground.

• Malaika Quigley, Prairie girls soccer, had a goal and two assists in a 3-3 draw against Battle Ground.

• Mary Brown, Fort Vancouver girls soccer, had 12 saves in a 1-0 win over Columbia-White Salmon.

• Seth Finnie, Union golf, shot an even par-35 in a match against Battle Ground at the Cedars.
