A pedestrian struck by a car Wednesday afternoon near Andresen Road and MacArthur Boulevard died of his injuries, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Dane C. Thompson, 52, of Vancouver was hospitalized after the car hit him near the intersection around 1:45 p.m.
The police department said the driver, Frank A. Genevase, 53, of Vancouver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. The department’s traffic unit was investigating.
