A grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust will allow Columbia Springs to hire a development director.

The Vancouver-based nonprofit said in a news release that it’s grateful for the grant, which allows it to do more outreach and programming. According to the job posting, the full-time position will come with a $60,000 annual salary and benefits.

The role “works with the executive director on planned giving, major donor gifts and research tools, private grant development and corporate relations,” said the posting.

Columbia Springs, at 12208 S.E. Evergreen Highway in Vancouver, promotes stewardship and awareness of the natural world.
