Woodland — Friends of the Woodland Community Library hosted its second Bocce Ball Blowout on Aug. 25 at Hoffman Park. In addition to a bocce ball tournament, the event featured a visit from Roman’s Taco Truck. Local elected officials and community members participated in a dunk tank. There was also a silent auction. Money from the event will be put toward the group’s effort to fund a new library in Woodland.
