The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has received a $2,500 grant from the Vancouver Rotary Foundation.
The grant will help the clinic care for uninsured patients living with diabetes. The Clinic’s program, volunteers and community partners offer education, stabilization and comprehensive care to people with diabetes. Funds from the grant will be used to purchase insulin.
“We’re grateful for this support,” says Barbe West, executive director of the Free Clinic. “This grant will provide supplies for people living with diabetes, many of whom simply can’t afford the insulin they need to survive.”
