Columbia Way — The Columbia Cascade Great Pyrenees Club created quite the fluffy scene on Oct. 13, as 19 members of the club walked 20 of the large white dogs along the Waterfront Renaissance Trail. They answered questions about the dogs and club and, of course, stopped for people to pet the dogs. The club ended the walk with lunch on the patio at Beaches Restaurant and Bar. The club’s main objective is Great Pyrenees rescue, and club members help to unite homeless Great Pyrenees dogs with prospective new homes. They also hope to provide useful information about the breed to new owners.
