Crash on Interstate 205 Bridge blocking single lane of traffic

Original article: A crash Tuesday morning on the Interstate 205 Bridge is blocking a single lane of traffic.

The Washington State Department of Transportation sent out an alert about the crash at 6:32 a.m.

Emergency responders from Vancouver and Portland responded, although most of the units were cleared from the scene about 10 minutes after being dispatched, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

There are two vehicles on the shoulder of the southbound lanes, according to the scanner. The left lane is blocked, according to DOT.

Responders said the crash does not involve injuries.

Vehicles were quickly slowing to at least the state Highway 500 junction in Vancouver, according to traffic maps.

Officials warned drivers to use caution and expect delays.
