City hosts open houses on urban growth update

Woodland – The city of Woodland will host five open houses to discuss the possible expansion of the city’s urban growth boundary as part of an update to Woodland’s comprehensive plan.

City officials intend to hold a planning commission public hearing to go over Woodland’s comprehensive plan amendment case and make a recommendation on a growth scenario map at its Dec. 20 meeting.

The open houses will be held from 1 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, 1 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15, 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 19, 1 to 6 p.m. Dec. 3, and 4 to 9 p.m. Dec. 4. All meetings will be held at council chambers in the Woodland Police Station, 200 E. Scott Ave.
