Local law enforcement agencies arrested four people Saturday for allegedly driving under the influence as part of a Halloween safety emphasis.
The Vancouver and Battle Ground police departments and Clark County Sheriff’s Office also contacted 58 people, issued 21 citations and 43 warnings, and made five other arrests, according to a news release from the Vancouver Police Department.
Local agencies will also conduct a pedestrian safety emphasis Wednesday for Halloween, the news release states.
The safety emphasis is funded through a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Division as part of Target Zero.
