The second installment of 2018 property taxes are due Oct. 31. The Clark County Treasurer’s Office advises people who have not received their statements to visit the county’s website at clark.wa.gov/treasurer or call 564-397-2252.

The Clark County Treasurer’s Office is located on the second floor of the Public Service Center at 1300 Franklin St., one block north of the county courthouse. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Nearby metered parking is $1.25 for the first hour.

According to a county news release, taxpayers may pay their property taxes online using a credit or debit card, or from their checking or savings account. While credit and debit card payments are assessed a 2.39 percent convenience fee, there is a $1 per transaction fee for using your electronic checking or savings account. To make a payment, go to clark.wa.gov/treasurer/payment-options or call 1-877-778-4606.

To register to receive your tax statement electronically and manage your property taxes online, go to clark.wa.gov/ezPropertyTax. Payment transactions must be completed by midnight Oct. 31, to avoid interest charges.

Tax payments also can be mailed to the Clark County Treasurer, Caller Box 35150, Seattle, WA 98124-5150. Payments must be postmarked by Oct. 31 to avoid interest charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to use the return envelope and payment coupon provided with their statement to mail their payments.
