Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., has been added to a panel that will be interviewed as part of the Women in Leadership Lecture Series sponsored by the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 30, at the Black Pearl, 56 S. First St., in Washougal.

Murray, Washington’s first female senator, will be joined by Nan Henriksen, Camas’ first and only female mayor, and state Sen. Annette Cleveland, D-Vancouver, of the 49th Legislative District. Lee Rafferty, former Vancouver’s Downtown Association executive director, will be program host, with questions addressing seven points: upbringing, education, adversity, career, mentors, passion and life balance.

The goal of the Women in Leadership Lecture series is to examine female leadership and to cultivate a network of women committed to excellence, collaboration and tenacity.

The 2019 Women in Leadership Lecture series will continue Jan. 29 with University of Washington President Ana Mari Cauce.
