Nominees for Week 8 prep football player of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 20.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

SHANE JAMISON, CAMAS: Jamison rushed for 133 yards on 17 carries with one rushing touchdown and one receiving TD in a 48-35 win over Skyview.

TOA KAUMATULE, HUDSON’S BAY: Kaumatule rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries in a 42-21 win over Evergreen.

PHILIP EARNHARDT, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Earnhardt had two rushing touchdowns and a 68-yard touchdown catch in a 49-7 win over Kelso.

LINCOLN KROG, STEVENSON: Krog rushed for 210 yards on just eight carries in a 48-7 win over King’s Way. Scored four touchdowns, three rushing and one receiving.

MIKEY SILVERIA, SETON CATHOLIC: Silveria caught four touchdown catches, part of a seven-catch, 139-yard game in a 27-26 loss to Castle Rock.
