Clark County seeking new member for mosquito control board

The Clark County Board of Health is seeking applicants for a volunteer position on the Mosquito Control District Board of Trustees.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. Nov. 12.

The position represents residents from east Clark County. Applicants must live within the Position 2 boundaries, which include portions of east Vancouver, the cities of Camas and Washougal, and unincorporated areas of east Clark County, according to a Clark County press release.

The board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of February, May, August and November. The meetings begin at 7 p.m. at the Mosquito Control Shop, 8115 N.E. St. Johns Road, Vancouver. The position term runs Jan. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2020.
