Clark Public Utilities earns region’s top award for communication

Hudson’s Bay — Clark Public Utilities earned the 2018 Tom Hougan Award for the best overall communication effort at the Northwest Public Power Association’s Northwest Communications & Energy Innovations conference Sept. 18 in Idaho. With an average score of 46 out of 50 points — including three first-place awards, a second-place award, two third-place awards and two perfect scores — Clark Public Utilities became the contest’s first three-time winner. Erica Erland, corporate communications manager, was on hand to accept the award and wrote in an email that winning it was a team effort.
