Homeless service provider Share began its annual monthlong Seats & Feets drive that asks people to donate underwear, socks and diapers throughout October.

The nonprofit will collect donations this month to be given to clients in the outreach, shelter and housing programs.

“New this year, we are asking donors to remember our community’s ‘wee seats’ by adding diapers and pull-ups to our annual donation drive,” Diane McWithey, executive director, said in a news release. “For those that donate underwear, we ask that you keep in mind that a range of sizes is needed, from small to 3XL.”

Donations of new underwear and athletic socks for men, women and children, as well as all sizes of diapers, can be dropped off at the Share Fromhold Service Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Otherwise, people can financially donate to the drive online at sharevancouver.org.
