Free breast health screenings offered

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center’s Kearney Breast Center will provide free breast health screenings for women who qualify.

The screenings, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20, are conducted through the Washington Department of Health’s Breast Cervical and Colon Health program. The Kearney Breast Center is located at 200 N.E. Mother Joseph Place, Suite 420, Vancouver. To qualify, you must be:

• A woman 40 years or older.

• Have no current breast concerns.

• Live in Washington.

• Qualify through the Breast, Cervical, and Colon Health Program.

To pre-enroll call 800-992-1817, ext. 1. Be ready to provide your monthly household income, Social Security number and date of birth. Interpreters will be available. Women with insurance can participate, and the center will bill your health insurance provider.
