The Vancouver Police Department on Monday identified the woman struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday afternoon as Amy M. Walker, 18, of Vancouver.

Police also named Matthew A. Raivio, 28, of Vancouver as the driver in the collision. Raivio stayed at the scene of the crash, according to police, and no citations had been issued.

Investigators found Raivio was traveling west on East Mill Plain Boulevard about 4 p.m. when Walker ran north into the westbound lanes near North Morrison Road and was struck by his vehicle, police said.

The police department said its traffic unit is still investigating the crash.

Friends of Walker’s family have set up an online crowdsourcing account through MealTrain.com, to raise donations and organize homemade meal-giving, under “The family of Amy Walker,” or mealtrain.com/o3yvl1.
