Nominees for Week 4 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian fall sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 29.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

SEAN BALL, SETON CATHOLIC BOYS GOLF: Ball was the runner-up at the Prairie Invitational with a 1-over 69 at The Cedars on Salmon Creek.

OLIVIA FOTHERGILL, MOUNTAIN VIEW GIRLS SOCCER: Fothergill had six goals and one assist in two league wins for the first-place Thunder.

EMILY PHELPS, FORT VANCOUVER GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Phelps won a three-team league meet by more than a minute (18:08) to lead the Trappers to their first 3A Greater St. Helens League title.

KYLE RADOSEVICH, RIDGEFIELD BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Radosevich was the top local finisher at Nike Portland XC Danner Championship race, placing fifth in 15:29.

EMMA SWETT, WOODLAND VOLLEYBALL: Swett had 31 kills, 33 assists and 14 digs in two league wins for the Beavers.
