By the time the Bulldogs stopped the bleeding, it was too late.

Columbia Christian hopped up to a 26-9 lead after a quarter thanks to forced turnovers and fastbreaks.

“Scoring was almost even in the second half,” Stevenson coach Kevin Edwards said “We played with a lot of heart and a lot of pride.”

The Bulldogs hit nine 3s, three coming from Alec VanPelt, who finished with 11 points.

Isaac Hoidal was tasked with guarding 6-foot-8 rising recruit Ben Gregg, whom he held to 11 points.
