Girls basketball: Black Hills 53, Battle Ground 34

Three Black Hills players reached in double figures in scoring for the nonleague road victory over the 4A Tigers (0-3).

Megan River paced the Wolves with a game-high 16 points followed by 13 from Maisy Williams and 12 from Jordyn Bender.

Brianna Adams had a team-high 14 points for Battle Ground and Mallory Meyer and Jennifer Westrand has six apiece.
