Boys basketball: Battle Ground 74, Hudson’s Bay 43

Led by balanced scoring with four players in double figures, Battle Ground won its season opener at home.

Kaden Perry followed up his season-opening debut of 25 points against Puyallup by leading all scorers Thursday with a game-high 21. Vincent McCormic added 14 points and KeAndre Hunter-Holliday and Nathan Millspaugh added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Tigers shot 15 of 18 at the free-throw line.

Carter Morse led Hudson’s Bay with 17 points.
